New Baby Age-someone please make a decision

On Monday we saw the doc and we were told our baby was 2.49cm and 9 weeks old.  Today, 4 days later, we went for another ultrasound and we were told our baby is 3.28cm and 10 weeks 2 days old.  Someone please make up our minds.  It was kind of great to see detailed pictures of the baby, and of course my wife's insides.  The brain is forming, the little heart is pumping, the hands and feet are moving around (yes we actually did see the hands and feet moving).  It was also confirmed, much to my delight, there's only one in the oven.  We were told that our due date was October 30th.  It was comforting to know that there were 2 legs, 2 arms, 2 hands and 2 parts of the brain.  My wife quickly said, "Now the baby has ears and a brain so you need to watch what you say."  I guess she was referring to me calling the baby an alien.  But from the pictures I've seen online babies at this age look like the alien that burst out of the guys chest in the movie.  Maybe I need to start the 'Psychological Repair Fund' now.

First Ultrasound

Yesterday was a little strange.  First I woke up and saw snow on the ground, yes snow on the 2nd of April and it felt like winter had come back.  I'm ready for the warmth of spring, the time for new things to come alive.  Later that day I got to see my 2.49cm baby.  We are now 9 weeks and 2 days into the pregnancy.  When the doctor asked what we were hoping for boy or a girl, my wife said she wants a boy but thinks it's going to be a girl.  I didn't answer at first then the doctor looked at me and said what about you?  I replied that it didn't really matter because I wouldn't get one born with with a job or knowing how to change its own diapers.

Mostly I'm hoping that I'll be a good father.
